Call for Proposals: Local Small Scale Development Projects (Armenia)

The Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia is pleased to announce the annual call for proposals for Local Small Scale Development Projects.

Funding Information

The budget per project ranges from 200,000 to 500,000 CZK (approximately 8,000 to 20,000 EUR).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a registered local entity in Armenia with legal personality, whose primary activity is non-profit.
  • The implementer must be eligible to sign a contract with the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs (CZ MFA), which establishes jurisdiction under Czech laws and courts.
  • It is desirable for the implementer to cooperate with Czech entities, such as purchasing Czech products or utilizing Czech expertise.

Requirements

Project proposals should adhere to the following requirements:

  • Previous experience with international donors or Czech entities is required.
  • The project should align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Projects should ideally address the needs of vulnerable groups, such as:
    • Children and youth
    • Women
    • People with disabilities
    • National or other minorities
    • Populations in extremely isolated rural communities
  • Geographic focus is desirable on villages and small-town communities.
